About Me

Hey! I’m Jordan, a 25 year old, full-time traveller who has been to 49 states and 31 countries (so far). My travel bug started early, thanks to my parents and many long road trips across the United States. I went on my first solo trip at the age of 17, where I went to stay in Norway for 3 weeks with a former exchange student’s family. I self-funded this trip, and learned so much being on my own. In college, I was able to travel even more, studying abroad twice – once on a month-long trip across Morocco, Amsterdam, and Paris, and again during a semester in Menton, France. I also completed a 6-month internship in Belgrade, Serbia, where I worked with activists on methods of nonviolent protest. By the time I graduated college, I had travelled extensively, and knew this was something I would want to pursue even further.

After graduating college in May 2021, I set off on what would become a multi-year adventure. I started by moving to Bend, Oregon, where I spent 8 months working at a hostel and a few months working as a barista at Mt Bachelor Ski Resort. It was in Bend that I met Liam, who has been with me for all the trips ever since. After leaving Bend, we spent a few weeks exploring Mexico before moving to his home state of New Mexico for the summer. There, we both worked at a whitewater rafting company, saving up for the travels ahead.

In October, we flew to Ireland to begin working at a hostel in Glendalough, a tiny mountain town not far from Dublin. We weren’t sure how long we would stay in Europe, or where we were even going to go after. Since October, we’ve traveled to 10 countries together, and are still planning to see more. To support myself along the way, I work part-time as an online English tutor. We also try to travel as cheaply as possible, staying at hostels and doing work-exchanges for free accommodation and meals. We love this nomadic lifestyle and are excited for the adventures ahead!
